Keep captions short enough to understand at thumbnail size. Use the upper line for context and the lower line for the response or conclusion. Check that text does not cover a face, product, date or other important detail. When a batch has different aspect ratios, preview the first image and then review every exported result because line wrapping can vary.
PNG preserves sharp caption edges but may produce a larger file than JPG. Compress the finished PNG or convert it to WebP when page speed matters. Use only images and trademarks you have permission to publish, and add meaningful surrounding page text when the image is used on a website. Text embedded in pixels is not a substitute for accessible HTML or alt text.
